Vanessa Hudgens and Zac Efron’s Fairy Tale Love Story

Early in 2008 Vanessa Hudgens and Zac Efron had a fairy tale love story that captured the hearts of teenagers and pre-teens worldwide.

They met when they both starred in High School Musical (HSM), which was a blockbuster movie on the Disney Channel. Vanessa played the starring role of Gabriella Montez and Zac played opposite her starring as Troy Bolton.

Gabriella and Troy shared a love interest in HSM similar to what Vanessa and Zac had in real life. Troy was the high school’s sports hero and Gabriella was a bright student who transferred to East High.

Although Vanessa and Zac were constantly seen together in Los Angeles, blogheads were continually speculating that their romance was over, but they were always been wrong until the couple finally did break up as Hollywood romances often do.

The blockbusters High School Musical 1 and 2 made stars of Vanessa and Zac, and they were among the most searched celebrities on the Internet. They were also followed everywhere by the paparazzi.

And it only promised to get bigger and better for the couple, for Disney had started production on High School Musical 3, which premiered in theaters rather than just the Disney Channel. The couple and HSM were so big that the number of views of their videos on Youtube reached into the tens of millions, which was off the charts even by today’s standards.

Many of the photos on this page were taken from Zac and Vanessa’s vacation in Hawaii in 2007. Zac said that a paparazzo caught him off guard because Zac had not yet realized that the couple was so high on the paparazzi radar.

“At that point it (his stardom) was inconceivable,” Zac said. “I had no idea that anyone could ever care. That happens to, like, big stars. I woke up and my dad told me that I was in a newspaper on the beach, (and) he made fun of me. He said I was ‘frolicking.’”

It appears that the paparazzo made a small fortune on the photos. Zac said that while they were still on vacation in Hawaii, “the photographer left me a note with a disc of all the pictures, and on the note it said, ‘Thanks for the Range Rover!’”

The following video stars Zac and Vanessa, is from High School Musical 2 and is entitled “You are the Music in Me.”

Marriage Proposal via Bruno Mars Lip Syncing/Dancing Charms World – Viral Video

Seven million YouTube viewers can’t be wrong, and most of them loved how Isaac Lamb, a Portland actor, proposed to his girlfriend, Amy Frankel, by getting about 60 of his friends and family to lip sync and dance to Bruno Mars’ song, Marry You. Lamb video taped the proposal and posted it on YouTube for the rest of the world to enjoy.

Lamb cleverly managed to place Amy in a position to watch and appreciate the proceedings from the rear door of a slow moving Honda, with video cameras recording both the event and Amy’s reaction to it all.

But enough talk, let’s watch:

Editor’s note: After this article was posted, the original vid was forced off of YouTube because of copyright issues, at least that is how YouTube characterizes it. The vid was replaced with one from a news agency, which supposedly has the copyright to the video–As if any of us really believe that a TV station organized and choreographed the dancers!

“I told my girlfriend to meet me at my parent’s house for dinner,” explained the 31-year-old Lamb.

“When she arrived I had stationed my brother to sit her in the back of an open Honda CRV and give her some headphones.

“He wanted to play her a song… what she got instead was the world’s first Live Lip-Dub Proposal.”

Lamb must be British because Americans would call it lip sync, not lip dub.

Amy was charmed and thrilled with the entire event, while Lamb gets credit for one of the cleverest marriage proposals on record.

This story reminds me of Jill and Kevin’s Wedding Entrance, another terrific wedding story that has over 75 million views on YouTube. Check it out.

Dog Eared Monkey Business and Cat Nap

Talk about strange bedfellows. These two unlikely pals reside in Goangdong Province, China, and have been virtually inseparable since the pigeon pretty much adopted the macaque monkey when he was only 12 weeks old. It seems that the macaque was abandoned by his mum, who preferred to party the night away rather than care for her babies. (Are you paying attention Britney?)

After he was abandoned, the monkey was near death. He was taken to an animal hospital and nursed back to physical health. However, from an emotional standpoint, he had little spirit, was clearly depressed and displayed little love for life.

Then the pigeon took the monkey under its wing, showing him the kind of love and affection that is ordinarily expressed only from a devoted parent to its offspring. The result is the loving relationship that clearly shines through in this photo.

Don’t you just love a happy ending?

Of course, it is rumored that the abandoning mother, who reportedly hates all things that end well, has hired an attorney and is now seeking to regain custody of her baby.

There is a rather familiar ring to this story, isn’t there? I wonder if the pigeon’s name is Kevin?

The dog eared photo needs little explanation. Looks like another tough guy throwing her weight around. That’s right! The tough looking German is a female.

Maybe that will teach you not to stereotype.

Hey! That looks like me on a Sunday afternoon.

Redneck and Australian Aborigine Love

Two Australian Aborigine guides were walking in the outback with a vacationing American redneck, when, suddenly, one of the Aborigines ran up a hill toward the mouth of a small cave. “Wooooo! Wooooo! Wooooo!” the Aborigine yelled into the cave. Then he carefully listened, hoping for a special answer.

“Wooooo! Wooooo! Wooooo!” he heard from the cave.

Tearing off his clothes, he ran into the cave. The redneck, looking puzzled, asked the other Aborigine what that was all about. Had the other Aborigine gone crazy?

“Oh no,” replied the Aborigine. “It is a mating ritual custom. When Aborigine men see a cave, they holler, ‘Wooooo! Wooooo! Wooooo!’ into the opening. If they get an answer from inside the cave, it means there is a girl in there waiting to mate.”

Just then they saw another cave. The second Aborigine ran up to the opening of the cave, stopped, and hollered, “Wooooo! Wooooo! Wooooo!” Immediately, there was the answer of “Wooooo! Wooooo! Wooooo!” from far inside the cave.

Aborigine number 2 tore off his clothes and darted into the cave.

After that, the redneck wandered around the outback alone until he came upon a great big cave. As he looked in amazement at the size of the huge opening, he was thinking, “Whoa, doggies! Look at the size of this cave! It is much bigger than the ones the Aborigines found. There must be a very fine woman waiting in this cave!”

As he stood in front of the opening, he hollered with all his might “Wooooo! Wooooo! Wooooo!”

Eyes closed and grinning in anticipation, he soon heard the resounding answer he had hoped for, “WOOOOOOOOO! WOOOOOOOOO! WOOOOOOOOO!”

With a glint in his eyes and a huge smile on his face, he sped into the cave, ripping off his clothes while he ran.

The next day, the headline of the local newspaper read, “Naked Redneck Run Over By Freight Train.”
