Michael Jackson 911 Call and Transcript

The 911 call to request paramedics to help Michael Jackson was placed at 12:21 PM, Thursday, June 25, 2009. But the call was delayed 30 minutes after Michael’s doctor discovered him unconscious. See Michael Jackson 911 Call Delayed 30 Minutes.

Michael’s security guard Tippy called 911 on behalf of Jackson.

The following is a transcript of the 911 call:

911 Operator: Fire and paramedics 33. What is the address of the emergency?

Caller: Yes sir, I need to…I, uh, I need an ambulance as soon as possible, sir.

911 Operator: OK, sir. What is your address?

Caller: It’s 100 North Carolwood Drive, Los Angeles, California, 90077.

911 Operator: You said Carolwood?

Caller: Carolwood Drive, yes.

911 Operator: OK, sir. What’s the phone number you’re calling from?

Caller: (deleted)

911 Operator: And what’s involved in exactly what happened?

Caller: Uh, sir, I have a…We have a…a gentleman here that needs help and he’s not breathing yet…He’s not breathing and we need him…we’re trying to pump him…but he’s not…he’s not…

911 Operator: Okay, okay, how old is he?

Caller: He’s 50 years old, sir.

911 Operator: 50? OK, he’s not conscious. He’s not breathing?

Caller: Yes, He’s not breathing, sir.

911 Operator: Okay, and he’s not conscious either? He’s not…

Caller: No, he’s not conscious sir.

911 Operator: Okay…Alright. Do you have him…is he on the floor? Where’s he at right now?

Caller: He’s on the bed sir. He’s on the bed.

911 Operator: Okay, let’s get him on the floor.

Caller: Okay.

911 Operator: Okay? let’s get him down to the floor. I’m going to help you with CPR right now, Okay?

Caller: We need him to get…

911 Operator: We’re already on the way. We’re on the way. I’m going to as much as I can to help you over the phone. We’re already on our way. Did anybody see him?

Caller: Yes, we have a personal doctor here with him, sir.

911 Operator: Oh, you have a doctor there?

Caller: Yes, but he’s not responding to anything. To no…no…He’s not responding to CPR or anything, sir.

911 Operator: Oh, OK, well, we’re on our way there. If your guy is doing CPR and you’re instructed by a doctor, he’s a higher authority than me. And he’s there on scene. Um, did anybody witness what happened?

Caller: Uh, no, just the doctor, sir. The doctor’s been the only one here.

911 Operator: OK, so did the doctor see what happened?

Caller: Uh, um, doctor, did you see what happened, sir?

(Voice spoken in the background sounds like the doctor responding “Just tell them to come,” but is technically unintelligible.)

Caller: Sir, uh, um, if you can please, uh, um…

911 Operator: We’re on our way. We’re on our way. I’m just passing these questions on to my paramedics while they’re on the way there, sir.

Caller: Thank you sir. He’s pumping…he’s pumping the chest but he’s not responding to anything, sir. Please.

911 Operator: OK, OK. We’re on our way. We’re less than a mile away and we’ll be there shortly.

Caller: Thank you, sir. Thank you.

911 Operator: Okay, sir. Call the fire (unintelligible) if you need any help.

Caller: Yes, sir.

Michael Jackson 911 Call Delayed 30 Minutes

TMZ.com is reporting that Michael Jackson’s personal physician, Dr Conrad Murray, delayed calling 911 for 30 minutes after finding Michael unconscious on the day he died.

Dr Murray’s lawyer, Edward Chernoff, is the reported source for TMZ’s report. Chernoff explained that Dr Murray did not make the call immediately because he did not know the address of the home Michael was renting.

The home where Michael was living is in Beverly Hills very near to Sunset Boulevard, which is one of the most famous streets in the US.

According to Chernoff, Dr Murray eventually recruited someone else in the home to call 911.

In addition, when Dr Murray preformed CPR on Michael, he did so on the bed, which is not the correct procedure. CPR should be performed on the floor, a hard surface, so that the chest compressions have greater effect.

Dr Murray has claimed that Michael’s bed was firm enough to perform CPR on.

More Funny Super Bowl Ads with Justin Timberlake and Naomi Campbell

Pepsi came up with two terrific Super Bowl ads that are both clever and funny, although recommending the product they are touting in the first ad would be a challenge. The ad is pushing Diet Pepsi Max, which includes ginseng extract and an increased amount of caffeine, all of which is designed to keep you awake.

Basically they are selling uppers, which is not illegal, but is it ethical for Pepsi to advertise that its product gets you slightly high?

But then again, do most of us care? Nah! What the hey! Life is short. Drink Diet Pepsi Max and get high.

Diet Pepsi Max is featured in the first video.

The second video is also a Pepsi commercial and features Justin Timberlake. There are some very funny moments in this one.

I especially like the part where Justin’s crotch is repeatedly bashed into the mail box post. Watch.

Naomi Campbell is the star of the third ad, and that alone makes it worth watching. The music is a take off on Michael Jackson’s Thriller, which is somewhat of a surprise because Jackson is not exactly a welcome name in many US households lately.

The ad seems to work though, is very entertaining and was one of the higher rated ads aired during the Super Bowl. The cosmetic teeth job on the one lizard is especially good.
