Tony Romo Dumps a Hot Jessica Simpson – Is He Crazy?

Eonline is reporting that the highly publicized relationship between Dallas Cowboy quarterback Tony Romo and Hollywood heartthrob Jessica Simpson is now caput.

Jessica’s 29th birthday was last Friday, July 10th, and Tony, ever the romantic, dumped poor Jess on Thursday, which was only one day before a Barbie Bash birthday party Jess had planned.

On Saturday night at 8:54 PM, Jess tweeted from the web, meaning she was probably home alone, that “barbie party didn’t happen, but i turned 29 and feel like i am on top of the world yelling I LOVE GETTING OLDER.” The poor girl was clearly hurting because no loves getting older.

Tony, on the other hand, was spotted hanging poolside with pals at the Roosevelt Hotel on Saturday.

Eonline also reported one of Jessica’s friends saying, “She was surprised. She wouldn’t have planned a party if she knew this was coming. They’re both going their separate ways.”

Sunday Jessica sounded a bit better when she tweeted, “everyone needs to know that hope floats…grab the strings and pull it back to you.” Atta girl, Jessica. A gorgeous girl like you won’t be alone for long.

Jessica Simpson in the Nude?

Jessica Simpson is dying to be taken seriously as an actress–so seriously, in fact, that she has been telling those near and dear to her that she intends to bare it all on the big screen.

She turned down a role as a porn star earlier this year because her papa Joe said no to nudity. Rumor has it that the role had Oscar potential, so Jessica is now reportedly regretting nixing that role.

She is currently being considered for another role that requires full frontal nudity but also has the potential to jump start her acting career into the Oscar worthy category.

It is being reported that Jessica wants this role so bad that she is going against family wishes and her own better judgment against performing nude scenes.

Jessica has been dating Dallas Cowboys’ star quarterback Tony Romo recently, but there has been nothing reported regarding how he feels about sharing Jessica’s naked body with the rest of the world.

Of course, the Internet has changed what happens to an actress after baring it all for a role. Once those photos are out there, they are out there forever and will pop up on web site after web site.

Baring it all did wonders for Halle Berry’s career. She showed it all in “Monster’s Ball” in 2001 and ended up winning an Oscar for best actress in 2002 for her role in the film as Leticia Musgrove, the wife of an executed murderer.

That Oscar catapulted Berry’s career into the stratosphere, so Jessica is hoping the same can happen to her, if she shows her goods on the big screen.

Of course, her extraordinary acting in her role is what earned Halle her Oscar, not the nudity. The real question is can Jessica give an Oscar worthy performance?

Robert Goulet Needs Lung Transplant

Singer and actor, Robert Goulet, lies in critical condition in Cedars-Sinai Medical Center awaiting a lung transplant to save his life.

The 73-year-old Goulet took ill in late September with a shortage of breath and growing increasingly weak. He was hospitalized on September 30th in Las Vegas. On October 13th he was transferred to the Los Angeles hospital to await a lung donor.

He has been diagnosed with Interstitial Pulmonary Fibrosis, a rare and potentially fatal lung disorder.

Goulet was a sensation on Broadway as the lead role in Camelot starring along side Richard Burton and Julie Andrews. He also won a Tony award in 1968 for his role in Happy Time.

He appeared in many TV shows including the Jackie Gleason Show, Fantasy Island, Cannon and Police Woman starring Angie Dickinson.

His wife, Vera, said regarding the transplant, “He is a strong, positive man, full of life. I know if he is given the transplant he will pull through this.”
